There´s a new date in the performances section. On October the 2nd Maite Itoiz will perform in the concert that Whitesnake and Flyin´ Freak will offer in Anoeta, San Sebastian.

You can already see the program Maite is going to sing in Berlin and Heidelberg next October and in Schloss Honhardt next December. Program.

Note from Maite:

For those who never heard this music before, I can tell that the first part of the concert, (French songs) is full of beautiful and almost magical songs with a touch of impressionism, almost to hear it with closed eyes. The second part, (Spanish songs and romanzas) is full of character and also romanticism. It would be perfect if you got the translations of the songs, but unfortunately there´s not enough time to do it. Anyway, if you are really interested, you could get all these translations through the internet somehow. I hope you spend a magical evening of music. See you soon.

There is a new chance to see Maite Itoiz in concert the next 3th of December in Schloss Honhardt, near Nürnberg. She will offer a program divided between French melodie and Spanish songs, with composers like Debussy, Duparc, Ravel, Granados, Turina, Falla... The pianist from San Sebastian, Pedro J. Rodríguez will play in this recital. For details see performances. Tomorrow she will perform again in Baluarte, Pamplona, as Albina, from La Donna del Lago, after the great success they had the day before yesterday in San Sebastian.

Right now Maite Itoiz is in San Sebastian, preparing her next performance as Albina in “La donna del Lago”, together with Daniella Barcellona and Juan Diego Flórez and conducted by  Riccardo Frizza. This is absolutly one of the most important opera productions ever shown in Spain.

Sorry for the delay in the updates, it´s not been because of our will.

There are new dates in Germany. see

The piano player from San Sebastian Pedro José Rodríguez will play with Maite in her next tour in Germany next October. Thomas Meggyes will do it in Austria.

The first CD of “Flyin´ Freak” “It´s the time” has already been released. There, you can hear Maite in one of the songs. You can see part of the band with Maite in a picture here.

Once more I want to thank all the people that came to the Konzerthaus Dortmund to see the shows, especially the ones that came from far away and of course, the fantastic audience from Dortmund, always so thankful. I hope you had fun, I did. It´s a pitty I couldn´t wear the fantastic custom of Shakespeare´s times I had prepared for this performance, but it was impossible to walk with it in the backstage. How did they do it in those times? You´d have love it :-( Anyway I hope to see you very soon in my next recitals. Hope you enjoy them! :-*

I would like to say thanks to all of you who came to see me and my wife in the concerts of Dortmund, it was great being on stage again, I really enjoyed it very much singing with a full symphony orchestra. It´s not an everyday chance. Some of you came from very far away. I´m really grateful to all of you for your support after so many years.
