She was born in Pamplona, where she studied and finished the classical guitar and the lyric singing careers with Roberto Olabarrieta and Carmen Arbizu respectively, getting excellent qualifications, prices and honour degrees.
She continues her singing studies with Arthur Janzen in Köln, and attends several courses and master classes to improve her vocal skills. She studied several years with the classical guitarist Miguel Esparza, the jazz guitarist Arthur Bernstein and the flamenco guitarist Carlos Itoiz. Now she studies new styles to improve her career. |

Daughter of musicians, her mother won the Duero Festival (Oporto´s song Festival) in 1968 and her father was representative and pioneer of the flamenco music in countries like Japan, Lebanon, Libya, etc. With a long curriculum, her father is still active today, playing with artists like Mikel Laboa in their tours. Married with John Kelly, founder member of The Kelly Family, band with over 20 million albums sold, is now her manager and producer, together with her. These and other influences have been enriching her knowledge all these years as a singer, instrumentalist, producer and composer. |

She started singing as a soprano soloist in different groups, like the big Orfeón Pamplonés, the ancient music group Vaghi Concenti, the chamber choir Coral de Cámara de Pamplona, performing in many festivals in Spain and out of Spain. She sang with the big and famous Orfeón Donostiarra, supporting them in the recording of two CDs. |

Independently, she is outstanding in her interpretations of works like the “Sta. Cecilia´s ode” of Händel, Vivaldi´s Magnificat, Scarlatti´s Stabat Mater, Mozart´s Krönungs Messe, C Messe and Stabat Mater of Schubert, etc, etc. In operas like Purcell´s Dido and Aeneas, Rameau´s The Princess of Navarra, Donizetti´s “La Favorita” in the rol of Ines, Bellini´s “La Sonnambula” playing Lisa, Verdi´s “Il Trovatore”, Rossini´s “La Donna del Lago”, Noye´s Flude of B. Britten, under the direction of conductors like Kamal Khan, Riccardo Frizza, Jorge Rubio, Arkady Berin, etc, and together with singers like Juan Diego Flórez, Daniella Barcellona, Gregory Kunde, Maria José Moreno, Silvia Tro, Rodrigo Esteves, Paolo Pechioli, etc. She sang Luisa in Arrieta´s “El Grumete”, different works of contemporary composers, premieres, solo recitals most of them accompanied by the San Sebastian´s pianist Pedro J. Rodríguez Larrañaga, etc.. |

In the last several years, she has been performing in different countries of Europe and in America. TV and radio appearances, several benefit galas, recitals, festivals like the Santander´s , “Quincena Musical of San Sebastian”, which had a great success of public and critics, or the Youth Festival in Bosnia, |

|
with over 10.000 people brought together, though her type of audience embraces all ages … These last concerts were live retransmitted in radio. She got the scholarship awarded by Juventudes Musicales in the lied course directed by Wolfram Rieger in Altea. Nowadays, she is being coached in Germany by Arthur Janzen. |

She has collaborated in the recording of several CDs and last year, her first solo album with orchestra, "Bello Puccini", is released. It contains a selection of the most representative arias of Giacomo Puccini. Now she is in the middle of promoting this CD in the different media and preparing several performances and projects for different countries.
After the success in February 2004 together with the International Symphony Orchestra of Dortmund, under the direction of the maestro Arkady Berin, singing Mozart and Puccini arias, in the “Roncalli meets classic” show, another 5 shows where given in July 2004, in total 17.000 people visited them this year in Dortmund.
After that she´s been touring several cities of Germany and Austria, where she is offering two different recital programs, together with the Hungarian pianist Thomas Meggyes and the San Sebastian´s pianist Pedro José Rodríguez. She came back to Berlín, after the great success of public and critics in her last recital there.
Last year she came back to the “Quincena Musical Donostiarra” with the concert version of "La Donna del Lago", together with singers like the world famous Juan Diego Florez, Daniella Barcellona, etc.
This year she´s been fully occupied in the production of her new project and CD, that hopefully will be released soon. It´s an ambitious production with many musicians involved in it. Meanwhile she´s been collaborating in other CDs, producing and composing arrangements for other artists, getting more and more experienced in the production field.
